New die cut shapes

We have the first of a range of die cut shapes going on the shop today.

In this flower and butterfly pack you get 10 scalloped flowers  and 10 FREE butterflies. They are China white in colour ( off white) and can be embossed , stamped, distressed etc. they are great for card making and scrap booking. The flower shapes also make great gift tags.
The flowers measure 7cm diameter and the butterflies 4.5 cm

Ouch!

Yesterday I went to the NEC and for the first time in years enjoyed myself as a customer rather than a demonstrator. I bought lots of lovely goodies and have ideas of more goodies to put in the shop.

Today I had an accident  at the school where I work part time......opening a door!
The fire door is heavy and I put some force on the handle to open it. As I did I felt a "snap" in my hand. Down the middle of palm I saw a thick, swollen and hard line of blue. My hand started to sweat and my fingers tinkled and felt very tight. I was sent to hospital where the Dr said I had pulled the muscle away
from the bone and broken a vein. He said it will be painful for about a week and could get quite bruised. I need to rest it and take painkillers. I am gutted as it means I wont be able to do any housework!!!!!(LOL)

However I did mange to make 2 cards when I got back home. Nothing stops me crafting!


So I am a bit slow today at putting on some of the new items we have in the shop. Please bear with me.

The Craft All Day DT are here!

Oh my goodness.What a time I have had going through everyone's blogs!
I am already a follower of many who entered but I came across so many new bloggers too. I thought picking a Design Team would be easy! But NO!!!!!!

I wanted ALL of you. But that just wouldn't be sensible.

As we are so new the DT will be made up of 3 wonderful crafters + me. I hope to add to the DT in the future. I have had email addresses from several of you so I can get in touch when I am ready to add to the team and I already have some of you in mind!

So onto the news. Drum Roll............

DT Call now closed

The DT call is now closed.

I would like to thank EVERYONE who entered. We were so overwhelmed by the response. We expected to get about 10 entries but we got over 80!!!!

And thank you for all the well wishes for our new store. It is still very early days. We have had a lot of "window shopping". Hopefully that will start to convert to "real" shopping. We still have more products to add so keep checking the shop.

So on to the DT call. Because we had sooooo many it may take a bit longer than I originally thought to pick.

I wish I could pick all of you.!!!!!. Certainly if the shop picks up and does well we will definitely add to the DT.

So with that in mind all those of you who entered we would love you to sign up for our newsletter. And could you send me your email address so that as soon as we can take on more DT I will email some of you and ask if you would like to join us. I would rather do this than put out a new DT call.

Craft All Days' first videos on You Tube

How exciting. We have uploaded our first video ( in 3 short parts) on You Tube. It last about 4 minutes altogether.  It is in connection with the stamps we have been promoting this week

Is this any better?

I recently posted a picture of the Jewellery Making Starter kit available at Craft All Day. 
Several of you pointed out that the picture wasn't clear. So, here are some clearer pictures so you can see what you will be getting.

Sympathy cards using the new Scalloped Card Blanks now in stock

I can't tell you enough how important good quality card blanks are.

We are now stocking 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 Scalloped Card Blanks (White). They are made of 300gsm card. They are are a strong card and will still stand perfectly even when you have gone to town with embellishments!!

These are a few cards I have made using these cards.
