Went surfing the web, got caught up in the netting!

Today we are focusing on one of our favourite kinds of embellishments and additions to a card or scrapbooking project, or any craft related project for that matter, and that is the beautiful Spiders Web Netting!

They look delicate, but hold strong, and have a lot of durability and can be manipulated into any shape you desire. They can be torn up, slice up, or neatly cut and shaped around a feature, it's entirely up to you!

So today we woke up feeling a little royal, and decided to showcase this new resin set of four beautifully detailed and made crowns!

As you can see from the picture above, these resins have an amazing layer of detail and really bring out the features of the pieces! Each one can look magnificent by themselves, but combined they have an even more stunning effect! Now Offering: Coloured Resins!

So on this gloomy Tuesday in the Midlands, we'd like to cheer everyone up and introduce some colour to your day! We are now very pleased to be able to say we can now offer coloured resins, in at least 8 colours and more on the way, for just an additional 20p-40p depending on the size.

As an example, we've used one of our favourite resin pieces, the window/picture frame in 8 lovely colours:

As you can see, some of the colours are subtle, some of them are very bold, but all would be perfect for most types of cards and projects!

The beautiful darker and more subtle colours would work brilliantly on a retro background, or for something that needs a more vintage or steampunk look, whereas the brighter colours would work great on a child's card or for something upbeat and funky!

The paler colours are perfect for more classy and antique types of cards.

If you like any of our resins, and want them coloured in any particular option shown above, just let us know which number you like the look of, and we'll colour that resin! As said before, it only costs an additional 20-40 pence to give them that extra bit of depth and reality with the colours, so why wait? Get them while they're hot as we say!

Feature Friday! - Sizzix - Tim Holtz Alterations - Vintage Typewriter

We have that Friday Feeling here at Craft All Day today! It's a beautifully sunny day, and we're full of inspiration and ideas for craft projects and products!

Today we thought we'd feature one of our favourite items, the Vintage Typewriter Bigz Die!

A beautiful and intricately made piece, this Bigz die is a classic. This die is designed for use mainly with the BIGkick, Big Shot and or Vagabond machines and requires the use of a pair of Cutting Pads.

It perfectly cuts through even thick materials, including cardstock, chipboard, fabric, foam, magnet, leather, metallic foil, paper and sandpaper.

As men are notoriously difficult to make cards or certain craft projects for, you can create something perfect and beautiful for them with this die! Or if someone is into antiquities, or even typewriters in general like the legend Tom Hanks, then this is even more perfect!
